Your competencies
The organisational language at Medair is English. A strong working knowledge of English, spoken and written, is required to work in field and HQ positions.
For positions working primarily in French, a strong working knowledge of French is required with a working knowledge of English.

Other personal information
For field positions, in very few situations can we place families in our programs, and we aim not to separate families. For these reasons, we need to understand marital and family status, including the age of children under 18, to establish suitability of placement.

Applicants who are married: Medair’s placement options for an employee with accompanying spouse in the field is limited depending on location and position (for example senior or critical roles).

Medair is careful in placing people who have experienced a major life event less than one year ago in the field (for example marriage, loss, separation, divorce), as we see this as too many major life changes to deal with at the same time.
This policy does not apply for HQ positions.
